I’ll provide design and product suggestions, guide you on how to maximize your space, and help create a cohesive style. This personalized service is designed to assist you with a variety of home projects, including (but not limited to) paint color recommendations, furnishing and fixture selections, staging and styling advice, offering input on renovation plans, or even creating professional floor plans and elevation drawings for your contractor. This service begins with a $200 two-hour initial consultation, followed by as-needed consultations billed at my hourly rates.
Design Only
Do you have the time and energy to focus on executing your remodel or home project but find yourself lacking the expertise to bring your vision to life?
I can handle the selection of finishes, fixtures, furniture, and more, and create detailed, actionable drawings that bring your ideas to reality. Once I’ve provided the comprehensive design plan, you’ll be equipped to take over and implement the design using the drawings, documentation, and shopping list I provide. With this service, you’ll be in control of all purchasing, procurement, and project management. This can be done either locally in Whatcom or Skagit Counties with an in-person consultation, or virtually using dimensions and images you provide. This service begins with a $200 two-hour initial consultation, followed by a flat fee proposal customized to your project’s needs

We’ll begin with an in-depth consultation to understand your style, preferences, and needs, which I’ll use to create a customized design plan. Then we’ll proceed with space planning, color schemes, furniture selection, decor, lighting, and materials, ensuring a cohesive look throughout your space. Also included is procurement and purchasing of items, coordinating deliveries, and handling installation. Additionally, I can be available to collaborate with contractors and other professionals for renovations or custom builds. The service is designed to deliver a seamless experience, resulting in a beautifully designed, functional space that reflects your personality and lifestyle. This service begins with a $200 two-hour initial consultation, followed by a flat fee proposal customized to your project’s needs.

In our initial consultation, we’ll meet in your home to discuss your needs, wants, and overall style for your space. We will also review the design process, talk timelines and budget, and outline the next steps. My aim is to gather as much information as possible from the start about your current space, lifestyle, needs, and desired outcomes, to make sure we nail down what you’re hoping for!

This phase of the design process is where we explore lots of different ideas and options. The goal is to get your approval on one design concept that we'll develop further as we move forward. Then it’s on to the most creative phase of the project, where we transform the initial concept into real, tangible design! We’ll dive into the details, carefully selecting interior colors, finishes, materials, fixtures, furniture, and decorative elements that align with the approved vision.

For projects involving construction, the prepared working drawings and specifications act as a go-to guide for all the contractors - like carpenters, plumbers, tile-setters, and electricians - who will bring the design to life. I also keep an eye on construction and track progress through site visits and regular check-ins. This is the phase where the dust flies and the project really comes to life!

Finally we’ve reached the exciting stage where everything comes together! Once construction wraps up, your space will get its finishing touches through accessory and furniture installation, and voilà - a beautiful, functional design just for you is ready to enjoy!
